Oscar William Stephenson was born in Chester Mississippi on August 2, 1912. Dad lived with his parents, sister and brothers on the farm until he moved to Memphis after high school. Dad worked at the Firestone plant in Memphis for 37 years before retiring.
Dad enjoyed amatuer radio, hunting, fishing, and most especially his work in Freemasonry.
