I enjoy ham radio as a hobby. Here you see me in my ham shack. I like to use a digital mode called FT8. You see in the picture that my computer is connected to the radio and the display is showing the various signals that I can hear on the air. The radio is a Yaesu FT-450D. It is a 100 watt radio that covers the HF ham band and also the 6 meter band. On the very far left of the picture is a Yaesu FTM-100DR that covers the 2 meter and 70 cm ham bands.
I applied to the FCC and was assigned my late father's call sign, WA4RQD. I hold an Amateur Extra class license.
